Year In Review: The #4 Story Of ’22: We Spotted Watches At NYC Basketball Courts
From West 4th to Rucker Park, there were your normal suspects: The Rolex, the Timex, the IWCs of the world. But there was also a shocking amount of brand variety. And something about the watches felt extra special in the context of the basketball court, and in the presence of the games. We even uncovered what appears to be a secret (though not for long) horological nugget called the West 4th Watch – a commemorative custom timepiece for those participating in the West 4th Street Pro-Am, also known as Kenny Graham’s Pro Classic.
