If you’re in or around New York City this weekend, go ahead and clear your calendar. Two of the biggest watch-focused events in the United States are taking place from Friday, October 20, to Sunday, October 23, 2023.

WatchTime New York, presented by WatchTime magazine, is taking over Midtown’s Gotham Hall for its eighth edition, while Worn & Wound’s Windup Watch Fair is back at the Altman Building in Chelsea for its second year at the new, larger location.

Thirty-six watch brands will be presenting at WatchTime New York this year – look out for Bremont, Greubel Forsey, H. Moser, Voutilainen, and others, all putting their watches on display at Midtown’s Gotham Hall. Meanwhile, more than 80 brands will be represented at Worn & Wound, with a focus on smaller brands like Anordain, Baltic, Brew, Oak & Oscar, Studio Underd0g, and more.

The Windup Watch Fair is free to enter and will have two floors of brands on display. WatchTime is a ticketed event, with day passes starting at $39 on its website. In addition to the brand booths, both fairs also have panels and programming planned throughout the weekend.

With these big watch fairs anchoring the weekend, there are also all kinds of other events going on throughout the city all weekend. For example, the GPHG finalists will be on display at the Watches of Switzerland in Soho through October 22. Cellini Jewelers will be holding a “Meet The Watchmakers” event on October 18 and October 19 featuring Krayon, Greubel Forsey, and MB&F.

If you’re a watch enthusiast in New York, enjoy all the festivities!
