Editors’ Picks: What Will Tudor Release At Watches & Wonders 2023?
But eyeing is as far as I went as I found, as I often do, that the 42mm steel case felt a bit too large for my wrist (in any dimension, really). So, for my Tudor wish/prediciton, I’d love to see Tudor “39” the Heritage Chrono formula in the same format as the Black Bay Fifty-Eight or the Pelagos 39.
For the purpose of specificity, I’ve imagined a Black Bay Heritage Chrono that is in keeping with the current chronograph strategy from Tudor (one that falls within the Black Bay family). So it’s a Fifty-Eight case, with shorter lugs, 39mm width, etc, but otherwise a faithful recreation of the lovely Heritage Chrono Blue.
I think it’s handsome, a bit softer than the original, and despite not being all that much of a chronograph guy, I love the way it looks and can only assume it’d be great on wrist – just like any of the Black Bay Fifty-Eights. –James Stacey, Senior Writer
