If I listened to the pundits and cinephiles I don’t think I ever would have seen Black Adam, the latest DC-universe comic book film starring Dwayne Johnson as the titular Adam. But it also stars friend of Hodinkee, and certified horologist, Aldis Hodge, who – in many ways – is the true hero of the movie. In it, he wears a very particular watch, one you’ve never seen before…and for good reason.
